PURPOSE: A liquid crystal sealant and a liquid crystal display cell using thereof are provided to secure the excellent coat ability and hardening property, and to improve the moisture resistance reliability of the sealant. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal sealant contains a resin particle with a core-shell structure, and has the viscosity in 25 deg C less than 100 Pascal per second using the E type viscometer. The liquid crystal sealant additionally contains a photo-curable resin, a silane coupling agent, a photo-radical polymerization initiator, a thermosetting resin, a thermosetting agent, and an inorganic filler with the average particle diameter less than 3 microns. The photo-curable resin is an epoxy(meth)acrylate resin. |
