PURPOSE: An ultraviolet ray irradiating apparatus is provided to increase the lifetime of an ultraviolet lamp by forming a preset distance between a cooling unit and an ultraviolet lamp. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting tube(14) is made of ultraviolet transmitting materials and includes an airtight discharge space. A pair of discharge electrodes face each other in an axial direction of the light emitting tube. An ultraviolet lamp(100) is sealed in the discharge space. The outer tube is made of transmitting materials. The inner tube is inserted into the outer tube and receives the ultraviolet lamp. A cooling unit(200) circulates coolant in the ultraviolet lamp between the inner tube and the outer tube. |
