NEW ANTIFUNGAL BACTERIA AND BIOPESTICIDES CONTAINING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A novel strain Bacillus amyloliquefaciens having broad antifungal activity is provided to have active spectrum and to use in microorganism agricultural chemical. CONSTITUTION: A novel strain, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens GIP-01(deposit number: KCTC 18157BP) produces iturin A which is an antifungal active material to plant pathogenic fungi. The plant pathogenic fungi are fungi causing Botrysphaeria dothidea, Phytophthora capsici, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, Phyricularia grisea, Glomerella cingulata, Rhizoctonia solani or Botrytis cinerea. A microorganism chemical for preventing plant pathogenic fungi contains Bacillus amyloliquefaciens GIB-01(deposit numbr KCTC 18157P).
