<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve restartability when a restart request occurs during fuel cut/engine rotation drop of an idle stop control. <P>SOLUTION: When an automatic stop request occurs during engine operation, fuel cut is started, and a throttle opening is switched to full-close position. Thereafter, when a restart request occurs, by opening the throttle opening to a throttle opening at the restart larger than a throttle opening at the idle rotation control, an amount of intake air during a restart control time period is increased to be larger than an amount of intake air at the idle rotation control, and the fuel injection is resumed, a starter-less start is executed for restarting an engine only by the fuel injection without using a starter. Accordingly, when the engine rotational speed exceeds a restart completion determination value, the restart control is terminated, upon determining that the restart is completed, and the throttle opening is returned to a target throttle opening at a normal throttle control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
