PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic shielding body which absorbs a manufacturing error and achieves good magnetic shielding performance, and also to provide a square cylindrical body thereof. SOLUTION: The magnetic shielding body is provided with a plurality of cylindrical layers 13 and 14 of square hollow cylindrical shape formed of a magnetic body and mutually overlapped concentrically. The plurality of cylindrical layers 13 and 14 are configured by combining four magnetic members, each having an L-shaped cross-section perpendicular to the central axes of the cylindrical layers 13 and 14, into the square cylindrical shape. The mutually adjacent positions of the four magnetic members in any one cylindrical layer 13 out of two cylindrical layers 13 and 14, and the mutually adjacent positions of the four magnetic members in the other cylindrical layer 14 out of the two cylindrical layers 13 and 14, do not overlap mutually in the cross-sectional direction.
