PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly change an application method and an application period of a patch according to a state of a machine to also automatically apply a patch such as an interactive form. SOLUTION: A patch application system is provided with a patch application target machine and a patch management server, and an operation management system, which controls execution of jobs by the patch application target machine according to a job network created and executed by the patch management server, is constructed in the patch management server and the patch application target machine. The operation management system is used to acquire a load state of the patch application target machine, the application period and the application method of the patch is determined based on urgency of the patch and the load state of the patch application target machine, and a patch application job network, to which the patch is applied by the determined application method and by a schedule that the patch is applied in the determined application period, is created and executed.
