PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively secure time for emitting light of each color in a liquid crystal display which constitutes one screen formed by sequentially light-displaying each color of a plurality of colors in each screen. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display includes a first signal generating circuit supplying a display signal corresponding to a first color to a second node of a pixel, similarly supplying a display signal corresponding to a second color, similarly supplying a display signal corresponding to a third color and supplying signals having polarities reverse to those of the display signals corresponding to the first, second and third colors to the second node and a second signal generating circuit supplying a control signal to a first node so that the display signal corresponding to the first color is transmitted from the second node to a first electrode layer of the pixel, supplying a control signal to the first node so that the display signal corresponding to the second color is transmitted from the second node to the first electrode layer, supplying a control signal to the first node so that the display signal corresponding to the third color is transmitted from the second node to the first electrode layer and supplying a control signal to the first node so that signals of the reverse polarities are transmitted from the second node to the first electrode layer.
