PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device, configured to bring a bearing into contact with the outer peripheral surface of both ends in the axial direction of a heat roller to rotatably support the heat roller, wherein lowering of surface temperature in each end of a heating area to heat a recording paper is reduced. SOLUTION: A first cylindrical body 31a, whose surface is heated by a film-like heater 33, and a second cylindrical body 38a, rotatably supported in contact with a pair of bearings 56, are connected together by a connecting member 39a having heat-insulating properties. Accordingly, rotation of the second cylindrical body 38a is transmitted to the first cylindrical body 31a, then, the heat roller 52a is rotated about an axis L1; and the heat is prevented from transferring from the outer peripheral surface of the first cylindrical body 31a to the second cylindrical body 38a and the bearings 56 contacting the second cylindrical body.
