PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptacle device, which never causes easy breakage of a power supply plug or receptacle. SOLUTION: The receptacle device 10 includes a receptacle 1 and an electromagnetic solenoid 2. A power supply plug 9 is connected to the receptacle 1. The plug 9 includes a housing 9h provided at one end of an electric wire 9w, a pair of power supply blades 9a and 9b protruding from an end surface of the housing 9h, and a grounding pin 9g protruding from the end surface of the housing 9h. The electromagnetic solenoid 2 is disposed in the back of the receptacle 1. The solenoid 2 encloses the grounding pin 9g inserted to the receptacle 1, and can axially attract and hold the grounding pin 9g so that it is hardly separated from the receptacle 1. Even when the plug 9 is carelessly pulled out of the receptacle 1 with a force stronger than the attracting force of the solenoid 2, the plug 9 or the receptacle 1 is not easily broken.
