PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a hollow fiber membrane module, capable of making the fixing surface of hollow fiber membranes uniform and making a resin permeate between the hollow fiber membranes at a high filling rate even when a high viscosity resin is used. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the hollow fiber membrane module includes: a step of housing the plurality of bundled hollow fiber membranes 1 in a cylindrical case 2 opened at one end side at least so as to project the distal end of the bundle of the hollow fiber membranes from the opening; a step of immersing the distal end of the bundle of the hollow fiber membranes projected from one end side of the case in a fluid resin material 10 from above; a step of vacuuming and sucking the inside of the case from the upper position of the liquid surface of the resin material on one end side from the other end of the case and filling the resin material in the space between the hollow fiber membranes inside the case; a step of hardening the filled resin material; and a step of cutting the distal end of the bundle of the hollow fiber membranes projected from the opening.
