PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tomographic apparatus for displaying dual energy images so as to be easily diagnosed by an operator. SOLUTION: The X-ray tomographic apparatus (10) includes an image comparison information computing section for computing image comparison information comprising a ratio of pixel values of a first energy tomographic image by X-rays of first energy and a second energy tomographic image by X-rays of second energy of a subject; an interest region specifying section for specifying interest regions for every specific substance in the tomographic images of the subject based on the image comparison information; a weighting factor determining section for determining a weighting factor for obtaining a dual energy image based on the image comparison information after multiplying one or both of the first energy tomographic image and second energy tomographic image by a weighting factor based on the specific substance contained in the subject; and a dual energy image reconfiguring section (22) for reconfiguring a dual energy image by carrying out weighting subtraction processing using the determined weighting factor.
