PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a person counting device using image processing, having a high-accuracy person counting function, and acquiring a feature such as a height of a person. SOLUTION: The person counting device includes: a camera acquiring an image of a predetermined region; and an image analysis part 21 analyzing the image in the camera. The camera is installed in a position to capture a face image and an entire body image of a person passing the predetermined region. The image analysis part 21 has: an extraction part 1000 extracting the face image of the person from the image; a template setting part 102 setting a template region corresponding to the person including the face image in each face image in the extraction part 1000; and a counting part 103 counting the person corresponding to region when the template region passes a predetermined area of the predetermined region.
