PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a game machine, which simply determines whether a game medium fed in the game machine is false or not, and prevents an unfair game using an unauthorized token. SOLUTION: This control device 11 controls the game machine (slot machine 2) played using the game medium (token). The control device includes: a storage part 112 storing a reference image of the game medium; and a control part 113, which counts up the number of effective game media for the number of game media fed into the game machine, acquires the image of the game medium imaged by an imaging device (token imaging means 9) imaging the game media fed into the game machine, compares the image with the reference image stored in the storage part 112, determines whether the game medium is an unauthorized game medium or not, and counts down the number of effective game media for the number of game medium determined to be an unauthorized game medium.
