PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a work burden at a job site when a stacker crane is assembled. SOLUTION: In this stacker crane 3, a pair of masts 25 are provided in front of and at a back of a traveling carriage 23. A lifting platform 27 moves upward and downward along the masts 25. A traveling motor makes the traveling carriage 23 travel. A lifting motor 63 moves the lifting platform 27 upward and downward. A control panel 41 controls the traveling motor and the lifting motor 63. A pair of the masts 25 have a first portion fixed to the traveling carriage 23 and a second portion connected to the first portion. At least one of the traveling motor, the lifting motor 63, and the control panel 41 is provided to the first portion of the mast 25. The first portion is shorter than the second portion.
