PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for processing a continuum quickly and accurately processing each component included in the continuum even when the contents of processing differ between components. SOLUTION: The processing method includes a processing information print process (S20), a reading process (S30), and a processing process (S40). In the processing information print process (S20), processing information is printed on at least one component constituting the continuum. The processing information includes information elements for specifying the component to be processed. In the reading process (S30), the processing information printed on the component is read.
