<p>The present invention relates to a microlens array sheet for an LCD backlight unit, and more specifically to a microlens array sheet for an LCD backlight unit having high light-shielding effect and luminance compensation. Accordingly, the substrate for the microlens array sheet for the backlight unit of the present invention comprises a nonwoven fabric and a microlens layer on at least one surface of the substrate, whereby said substrate is preferably made by laminating a nonwoven fabric with at least one transparent film selected from polyethyleneterephthalate, polycarbonate, polypropylene, polyethersulfone or polyimide. Preferably, said substrate is formed by planerizing and coating at least one surface of said nonwoven fabric with one or a mixture of at least two types of resins selected from urethane, epoxy, polyester, polyamide and acrylic, such as polymethylmethacrylate or methacrylic ester copolymer, and said prism layer is formed on the planarized and coated surface.</p> |
