PURPOSE: A backlight device using an external electrode fluorescent lamp is provided to first activate a fluorescent lamp electron which is in a base state, thereby improving an initial lighting feature of the fluorescent lamp by an external electrode. CONSTITUTION: A lamp guide bottom(20) is formed by an injection-molded object. An external electrode fluorescent lamp(40) is composed of a common electrode(30) formed by a press object. The lamp guide bottom is arranged on both sides of the cover bottom to support the fluorescent lamp. The common electrode is combined with the lamp guide bottom. |
