<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network I/O system which can keep an input/output timing to a device fixed and can arbitrarily designate the input/output timing. <P>SOLUTION: A network I/O system has a device terminal 130 having input/output devices 141 and 142, and an ECU 120 connected to the device terminal through a communication network, and generating request frames 117 and 118 for giving the device terminal an access to the input/output devices and issuing the same to the device terminal. Time information 203 and 204 indicating a timing when the device terminal should access the input/output devices are added to the request frames.
