PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of answering user's various requests for display of an instruction manual on the mobile terminal and to provide a method for displaying the instruction manual. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal capable of displaying its own instruction manual includes: a display means; a storage means for storing manual information expressing the instruction manual; a receiving means for receiving method information indicating any one of a plurality of predetermined display methods; and a control means for displaying directions described in the instruction manual expressed by the manual information by using the display method indicated by the method information received by the receiving means.
