PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition in which the detergency is improved by incorporating an alkane sulfonic acid or its salt, particularly a secondary alkane sulfonic acid or its salt and the formation of a film or the occurrence of turbidity is suppressed. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition contains (A) 3-50 mass% polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate, (B) secondary alkane sulfonic acid and/or its salt, (C) 1-20 mass% amine oxide type surfactant and (D) 1-10 mass% phenyl glycol ether.
