PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor which can constitute a sufficient scattering preventing structure of magnet, while suppressing drop in the output. SOLUTION: The rotor 10 of consequent-pole type structure is configured so that a salient pole 12a projects radially outward beyond the magnet 13, and a cover member 14 covering the magnet 13 between the adjoining salient poles 12a is locked to the side surface tip side of the salient pole 12a so that the cover member does not project farther than the salient pole 12a.
