DATA RETRANSMISSION METHOD AND USER EQUIPMENT

A data retransmission method and a user equipment are provided. The method includes: stopping data transmission of one path of the data flow if the network side indicates to switch a double-flow transmission mode to a single-flow transmission mode (201); clearing off the data in Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) process of the stopped data flow (202); or, if the network side indicates to switch a single-flow transmission mode to a double-flow transmission mode, transmitting the retransmission data in the HARQ process of the original data flow without changing the HARQ process number, and transmitting new data in the HARQ process of added data flow newly; or using the retransmission data of the original data flow as new data to transmit in the HARQ process of any one path data flow of the original data flow and the newly added data flow. Applying the method and user equipment of the embodiments of the present invention solves the data transmission problem in the HARQ process corresponding to the stopped data flow for transmitting data when the double-flow transmission mode is switched to the single-flow transmission mode after the uplink uses Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technique, the data losing is reduced effectively, and the data retransmission is performed rapidly.
