The connecting bolt connection (10) has a plug (11) made of plastic, an external thread (12), and a thread opening (14) with an internal thread in housing, in which the plug is screwed in. A recess is provided around the thread opening, and the material of the plug shifts in the recess, and the relative rotation between the thread opening and the plug is prevented. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a steering rack, which has a thrust piece; and (2) a method for adjusting pre-loading of a thrust piece of steering rack by a plug supporting the thrust piece.
