<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably hold an external load or the like in a simple structure, and well restrain deformation or escape of a fastening load or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack 10 has a plurality of fuel cells 12 stacked with end plates 18a, 18b at either end in a stack direction. The fuel cell stack 10 is provided with a coupling member 50 bridged between the pair of end plates 18a, 18b, a retaining mechanism 52 fitted to sides 51a, 51b of the end plates 18a, 18b as well as to the coupling member 50 for granting tensile force in a fastening direction, and a fixing mechanism 54 for fixing the sides 51a, 51b of the end plates 18a, 18b with the coupling member 50. The retaining mechanism 52 is provided with a pin member 58 integrally inserted into the sides 51a, 51b of the end plates 18a, 18b and the coupling member 50, and at the same time, the fixing mechanism 54 is provided with a screw 64 for fixing the coupling member 50 with the sides 51a, 51b of the end plates 18a, 18b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
