<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst layer forming method capable of forming a catalyst layer at low material costs and high productivity. <P>SOLUTION: In the catalyst layer forming method for a fuel cell for laminating and forming the catalyst layer 32 by spraying catalyst components 32a to an electrolyte film 31 wherein a frame-shaped protection layer 33is laminated and joined to an outer peripheral end, a water-repellent treatment layer 11 is given to the surface of the protection layer in advance, and the whole catalyst layer 32 is formed by respectively spraying the catalyst components 32a to an outer peripheral side 31a of the electrolyte film adjacent to the protection layer with an exclusive coating means 12 and to a central side 31b of the remained electrolyte film with a primary coating means 13. Mist of the catalyst components 32a stuck to the surface of the protection layer is set up to be minute, and at a very small quantity on the basis of an existence of the water-repellent treatment layer 11 and spraying of the catalyst components with the exclusive coating means 12, and the catalyst layer 32 can be formed at the outer peripheral side 31a of the electrolyte film without damaging an insulating function of the protection layer 33 and having a mask member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
