<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To show a position of an apparatus body or an operation part even if it is in a place hard to visually recognize by providing a display part displaying an operating condition by using a light source such as an LED, and to put out lights for suppressing unnecessary power when display is unnecessary in an air conditioner such as a dehumidifier or an air cleaner. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes an energy saving switch 18 in an operation control part 14 for shifting to an energy saving operation mode, a sound setting switch 19 storing a sound signal in a control part 27 for recognizing that a user is nearby during the energy saving operation mode, and a microphone 21 converting sound of a dehumidifier periphery into an electric signal. By determining whether anything artificial is included in characteristics of a sound generated in an apparatus periphery by a control part, and controlling a lighting means such that a the user is in a periphery even without touching the apparatus when a sound made on purpose is recognized, an air conditioner can be composed, carrying out operation display only when the user needs it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
