<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique with which an accessing frequency to an address/port conversion table is reduced in an internetwork device which converts a local address and a global address. <P>SOLUTION: An internetwork device is equipped with: a conversion table storage unit storing therein an address/port conversion table; and an address conversion processing unit for performing mutual conversion between a local address in a packet to be transmitted/received in communication between a plurality of networks and a communication port number in the local address, and a global address and a communication port number in the global address, on the basis of the address/port conversion table. The conversion table storage unit stores local addresses and global addresses, on the address/port conversion table, while arranging them side by side for each address group.
