<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device and portable terminal, which can be thinned down. <P>SOLUTION: The operation device 1 includes a casing 2 in which an operation section 5 (a direction operation section) for carrying out input operation is arranged, the operation section 5 includes: a plurality of key tops 611 exposed to the outside of the casing 2 through opening parts 212A of the casing 2; key bodies 61 having base parts 612 connecting the plurality of key tops 611 in the inside of the casing 2; a circuit board 7 in which a plurality of detecting parts 71 (switches) are arranged in respective positions according to the plurality of key tops 611; and tabular elastic bodies 62 (elastic parts) interposed between the key bodies 61 and the plurality of detecting parts 71, wherein the elastic bodies 62 are arranged integrally with the key bodies 61. Consequently, soft hit feeling can be obtained by the elastic bodies 62 and further the operation device 1 can be thinned down by adjusting the thickness dimension of the elastic bodies 62 in comparison with the case of employing conventional elastic bodies (contact rubber). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
