PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holder capable of supporting a container such as a PET bottle and having a body the height of which is minimized. SOLUTION: When a lid body 36 is opened, a sidewall member 22 protrudes from the upper end surface of the peripheral wall of a body 12, and outside a cup section 20, the wall section 24 of the sidewall member 22 rises. That is, the height of the wall section 24 capable of supporting the side section of a container 16 is increased. This means that the depth of the support section capable of supporting the container 16 is increased by an amount corresponding to the height of the rise of the sidewall member 22.
