PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocurable resin which is environment-friendly and excellent in UV curability, and produces a cured article excellent in heat resistance, adhesiveness and flexibility; and to provide a photocurable resin composition including the same. SOLUTION: The photocurable resin (A) is represented by general formula (I). The carboxy-containing photocurable resin (A') is obtained by reaction of the photocurable resin with an acid anhydride (d). The photocurable resin composition includes the photocurable resin (A) and/or the carboxy-containing photocurable resin (A'), and a photopolymerization initiator (B) as essential components.
