PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis-condition selection-support device and an analysis-condition selection-support method, in which elements emitting characteristic X-rays to be dispersed and spectral devices to be dispersed are listed, and analysis conditions are readily selected. SOLUTION: The analysis-condition selection-support device includes: a selected screen display means 31 for displaying an analysis-condition selection screen containing a spectral devices selection portion in which buttons of the spectral devices are arranged, and an element selection portion in which buttons of the elements are arranged; a spectral-range storage device 26 for storing information of the relationship between the spectral devices and the characteristic X-rays emitted from the element; an element selection portion display means 32 for retrieving information from the spectral-range storage device 26 and with respect to buttons of the elements to be dispersed by the spectral devices specified at the spectral device selection portion, classification-displaying the kinds of the characteristic X-rays at the buttons of the elements; and a spectral-device selection portion display means 33 for retrieving information from the spectral-range storage device 26 and classification-displaying, at the buttons of the spectral devices dispersing the characteristic X-rays of the elements, the kind the characteristic X-rays emitted by the elements specified.
