PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device for preforming more appropriate operation support according to situations at that time. SOLUTION: In the driving support device 1, an ECU 2 functioning as first and second determination means rings a warning when determining that the vehicle speed of an own vehicle entering an object intersection is more than a lower limit vehicle speed as the threshold of the vehicle speed for ringing a warning, and does not ring any warning otherwise. Also, the ECU 2 determines whether or not the traveling direction of the own vehicle is straight, and when the traveling direction of the vehicle is not straight, reduces the lower limit vehicle speed only by a prescribed correction valueα, and does not reduce the lower limit vehicle speed otherwise. Then, the lower limit vehicle speed of the vehicle entering the object intersection is changed according to whether or not the vehicle travels straight. For example, even when the vehicle speed of the vehicle turning right at the object intersection is equal to or less than the lower limit vehicle speed which is applied to the vehicle traveling straight, the ECU 2 rings a warning as long as the vehicle speed of the vehicle is higher than the vehicle speed obtained by subtracting the correction valueαfrom the lower limit vehicle speed.
