PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic composition containing venlafaxine and useful for antidepressant therapy. SOLUTION: A dosing formulation for perorally delivering a pharmaceutical agent to a use environment comprises (a) walls at least a part of which contains a permeable composition in a fluid passage, (b) partitions, (c) venlafaxine, (d) walls surrounding substituted materials comprising a polymer and a penetrant in the partitions and (e) an exit passage in the dosage formulation for delivering a pharmaceutical composition from the dosing formulation.
