PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle front lower member capable of preventing the intrusion of water from a flange connecting section of panels, and securing large joint strength at the flange connecting section. SOLUTION: The vehicle front lower member 2 comprises a member transversely suspended from front ends of front side frames, extending in a fore-and-aft direction of a vehicle, at a vehicle front at both sides thereof to support at least a radiator 7 via brackets 8. The member includes two panels 2A and 2B elongated in a vehicle width direction and having terminal edges formed with flanges 2a and 2c and flanges 2b and 2d, respectively, which are welded and connected to each other so that a closed cross sectional structure is formed. In the vehicle front lower member 2, the flange connecting sections c1 and c2 of the panels 2A and 2B are located up and down. At least a joint surface of the lower flange connecting section c2 is located at a front end of the vehicle in the fore and aft direction thereof to be aligned in a vertical direction, and one end of the bracket 8 is mounted on a lower surface at a nearly central area thereof in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle.
