PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution for operating a memory mechanism in only an unlocking lever. SOLUTION: This seat slide device includes a lower rail, an upper rail, a lock arm 8 having a second pressed part 8f energized by a rod-shaped spring 11, a rail 31 for a memory having an engaging groove 31a, a memory base 32 provided in the rail for the memory, a rotating member 32d rotatably provided by being energized by a spring in the memory base and having an engaging part 32e engaged and disengaged with/from the engaging groove 31a and a third pressed part 32f, the unlocking lever 38 provided in the upper rail 2 and having a combined use pressing part 38b for pressing the second pressed part upward at a lower end, and a walk-in mechanism with a memory mechanism holding the memory base together with the stopper member 39. The unlocking lever includes a tapered surface 38d for pressing the third pressed part and a rotation regulating part 38e for regulating the rotation of the rotating member when the upper rail 2 is retreated.
