<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a menu display device, a menu display method and a program which set the specification of a menu on an application side. <P>SOLUTION: The menu display device 100 for displaying the menus of a plurality of applications includes: an acquisition part 103 for acquiring the display data of content information C representing content being the object of menu display among content managed by each application from each application; and a display control part 113 for controlling the display of the content information in each area according to the setting conditions of an area A arranged by application on the menu and the display data of the content information obtained from each application.
