<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control execution of calibration corresponding to the occurrence situation of a partial toner-low state. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: an outputting means for outputting an image for detecting the partial toner-low state to a print region; a determining means for determining the partial toner-low state based upon a read result of the image output by the outputting means; and a controlling means for controlling execution of calibration calibrating reproduction characteristics in outputting the image using the toner, based upon a result of the determination by the determining means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
