<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of preventing the boiling of cooling water at a cold start. <P>SOLUTION: The control device for the internal combustion engine includes: cooling water main paths 81-83 passing through an engine 10; a cooling water auxiliary path 90 passing through a cooling device 40 cooling exhaust gas from the engine 10 and communicating with the cooling water main paths 81-83, changeover valves 44, 45 changing over the cooling water main paths 81-83 and the cooling water auxiliary path 90 between communication states and cut-off states; a temperature sensor 50 detecting a temperature of cooling water; and an ECU 20 detecting the operation state of the engine 10 and controlling the changeover valves 44, 45 to the communication states when the temperature of the cooling water is lower than a prescribed value and the operation state of the engine 10 is at heavy loading. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
