<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an occurrence of surge phenomenon so as not to cause complications during operation, such as posterior capsule rupture, in an intraocular surgery instrument. <P>SOLUTION: The intraocular surgery instrument has a storage bottle 21 for storing a perfusate, a hand piece 1 having an inlet and an outlet for the perfusate and also having an ultrasonic tip 11 for pulverizing an intraocular affected part, a supply pipe 6 for interconnecting the storage bottle 21 and the hand piece 1, and a discharge pipe 7 for discharging the pulverized intraocular affected part together with the perfusate from the hand piece 1. The perfusate is made to flow by supply pressure supplied from the storage bottle 21. From the point of view to further simplify the instrument and to further save energy, it is desirable that the head pressure caused by the height difference between the storage bottle 21 and the hand piece 1 be used for the supply pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
