<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use IC chip that maintains the security, and to provide an information processing apparatus mounting the same. <P>SOLUTION: An IC chip includes: a first memory that stores a control program for executing an encryption process; a second memory that stores an application; an operation processing part that receives first data configured by at least a portion of an encryption secret key stored in a predetermined region of the application, and carries out an encryption process based on the control program; and an auxiliary operation-processing part that carries out an predetermined operation process by control of the operation processing part. When the first data does not conform to a data format specified by a software interface of the auxiliary operation processing part, the operation processing part exerts control to generate second data obtained by carrying out a process to the first data so as to conform to the data format, and store the generated second data in a data table provided in the second memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
