PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic information providing device for presenting travel time so that a driver easily selects a route according to the traffic condition.

SOLUTION: The traffic information providing device for presenting the travel time related to at least one of a plurality of alternative routes 10 and 12. The device includes: an acquisition means for acquiring current travel time T1 and T2 for the routes 10 and 12; a first arithmetic means for calculating assumed variationsΔD1 andΔD2 to be generated on and after the current time with respect to the travel time of the routes 19 and 12; a second arithmetic means for calculating the travel time to be provided to the vehicle 5 on the basis of the travel time T1 and T2 at the current time and the assumed variationsΔD1 andΔD2.
