PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a DC-DC converter 10 is upsized by design such that the DC-DC converter 10 withstands continuous use under the practically maximum load conditions. SOLUTION: A control unit 30 operates switching elements Q1-Q4 to perform feedback control of an output voltage V of the DC-DC converter 10 to a target voltage Vref. In this case, an output current I of the DC-DC converter 10 becomes not less than a continuous rated current, thus raising a switching frequency. In this case, the continuous rated current is set based on the maximum current in a region where the practical use is continued, and is smaller than current under the practical maximum load conditions.
