A method and device for managing interference of relay of the communication field are disclosed, which improve the performance of relay system. A method includes the following steps: determining interval wireless frame number N_S, wherein the N_S is a non-negative integer; every N_S wireless frames, sending no signal in primary synchronous signal PSCH or secondary synchronous signal SSCH; notifying relay node the N_S value and the wireless frame position of the PSCH or SSCH in which no signal is sent. Another method includes the following steps: receiving the notice from base station; every N_S frames, sending its PSCH or SSCH in the wireless frame position of the PSCH or SSCH in which no signal is sent by the base station. The embodiments of the present invention are applied in relay system.
