The vehicle (10) has a front axle (14), two rear axles (16, 18), and a loading device (20) that is adjustable between two positions. The loading device moves goods i.e. containers, into and from a load area (26) of the vehicle. The loading device is adjustable in a transport position, in which axle load distribution to the axles is adjustable by a transporting weight fastened to the loading device. The transporting weight is formed as spare wheel (50) of the vehicle. The transporting weight and/or the loading device are fastened in the transport position of the loading device. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting axle load distribution of a commercial vehicle.
