ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically and conveniently start an engine without damaging an anti-theft function even when an engine start key is lost or the like.

SOLUTION: A start key recording function is incorporated into the immobilizer 17 of each vehicle. The start key recording function collates the ID codes of permitting devices 5C and 5D and the ID codes for the permitting devices recorded in an immobilizer control section 17; and records the ID codes of the engine start keys 5A and 5B as an ID code for starting the engine in the immobilizer control section 17 so that an engine key 5 functions as the engine start keys 5A and 5B when the collation is established. The permitting device includes the first permitting device 5C in which the ID code is recorded in the immobilizer control section 17 for each vehicle; and the second permitting device 5D that can register the same ID code in a plurality of vehicle immobilizer control sections 17 aside from the first permitting device 5C. A permitting key recording function of recording the ID code of the second permitting device 5D is incorporated into the immobilizer control section 17 of each vehicle.
