<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater-air conditioner capable of expanding an operable range during heating operation. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump type water heater-air conditioner includes a water system receiving heat from a refrigerant system in a heat pump and producing hot water, and the refrigerant system includes an electronic expansion valve for cooling and an electronic expansion valve for heating arranged in series. The heat pump type water heater-air conditioner further includes outside air temperature responsive control performed when, during a heating cycle, the aperture of the electronic expansion valve for heating is throttled to a prescribed value or higher. The outside air temperature responsive control includes: A zone control selected when a detected outside air temperature value(To) is not less than a prescribed comparison temperature (Tc); and B zone control selected when the detected outside air temperature value (To) is less than the prescribed comparison temperature (Tc). The electronic expansion valve for cooling preforms two-level aperture control by the A zone control and B zone control so as to bring an actual degree of supercooling (Tsc) closer to a target degree of supercooling (Tsct). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
