<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide memory systems that include greater life expectancy, include greater reliability, and are less expensive. <P>SOLUTION: The memory system 300 includes a controller 310 configured to be coupled to a plurality of computing devices, a plurality of Multi-Level Cell (MLC) devices 320 coupled to the controller, and a Single-Level Cell (SLC) device 330 coupled to the controller 310 and the plurality of MLC devices 320.
