<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate media in an upper part of a bundle of media by a compact construction. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus (U) includes a media mounting member (14) movable between a sending position to send out the mounted media (S) and a descended position that is descended from the sending position; an arrangement member (27) which is disposed at an end portion in a media width direction crossing a transfer direction of the media (S) stored in the storage section body (6), and is rotatably supported around a rotary shaft (27a) along the transfer direction of the media (S), and arranges the edges at the end in the media width direction by contacting the end portions of the media (S); an arrangement rotating member (31) for rotating an upper end of the arrangement member (27) in a direction of rotation toward the media (S) in the media width direction; and a rotation control means (C4D) for allowing the arrangement rotating member (31) to be operated to rotate the arrangement member (27) when the media mounting member (14) is moved to the sending position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
