EXERCISE SUPPORT SYSTEM, EXERCISE SUPPORT METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise support system that can instruct a correct exercise load under the condition of realistic walks or runs. SOLUTION: An input part 3 inputs a target exercise status indicating the target and allowable area of exerciser's exercise status. An exercise route memory part 7 memorizes route information including exercise route map data and information about the difference in height of an exercise route. A travel control part 5 controls a travel mechanism part 6 to let a movable body 10 run in front of the exerciser along the route acquired from the exercise route memory part 7 keeping a predetermined distance from the exerciser. A biological information-receiving part 2 receives exerciser's biological information measured by a biological information measurement part 21. A travel status decision part 1 calculates exerciser's speed from exerciser's position detected by an exerciser position detection part 9 and the speed detected by a movable body position detection part 8 and adjusts the running speed of the movable body 10 so that the status of exerciser's exercise calculated from exerciser's biological information and travel speed may enter the allowable area of the target of the exercise status.
