PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner that does not cause any increase of spot diameter and pitch unevenness even when the tilt of the scanning line is adjusted by solving the following problem of an optical scanner having a plurality of light sources: a printing quality is deteriorated since spot diameter is increased and pitch unevenness is caused due to the increase of aberration, the change of focusing position, the change of magnification in sub-scanning direction, or the like when scanning line is adjusted. SOLUTION: The optical scanner includes: a light source unit 20 having a plurality of light sources; a first lens system 23 which guides light from the light sources; an optical deflector 24 which deflects and scans the light from the first lens system; second lens systems 25a, 25b, 25c which focus the light deflected and scanned with the optical deflector onto a medium to be scanned, wherein means 1 to 5 are provided to turn the second lens systems substantially centering upon the optical axis and fix. Thus, the spot diameter is not increased and pitch does not become uneven even when the tilt of the scanning line is adjusted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
